If you wish to search for a licensed tradesperson in your area or if you want to check if a particular person or company is licensed in South Australia, then you can do that on the Licensing Public Register

A Licence Recognition website has been created where licensed/registered builders, plumbers, gas fitters, electricians and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, who are intending to work in another State or Territory, can identify the licence/registration they are entitled to hold in that other State or Territory pursuant to the Mutual Recognition Act 1992.
