Policy requirements

This document sets out the type of matters that are necessary to address in any application to CBS for exercise of a discretion, such as an exemption from strict compliance from a particular provision or an approval to do certain things. It contains a summary of the legislation, and summary of the policy that CBS applies when considering the matter. The policy requirements should be fully addressed in any application to CBS to the extent that it is applicable to the co-operative. Subject to any applications that must be made to CBS in an Approved Form, applications should be made in writing accompanied by the prescribed fee.
