Offences and proceedings

This Part contains some general offence provisions and includes secrecy provisions in relation to persons engaged in the administration of the Act.

Commencement of proceedings
The Director of Public Prosecutions has power to commence proceedings under the s7 of the Director of Public Prosecutions Act 1991.

Proceedings must be commenced within two years of the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed. (s52, Summary Procedure Act 1921)
